SO this weekend was full of activities! On Friday I woke up super early for discussion. Then went home, watched tv, slept. Then I went to another discussion and then New Member Orientation. it was cool..we played Catch Phrase and I think that got everyone all riled up. Then after the orientation, there was supposed to be a dinner social...yeah..little did I know that everyone was just gonna leave and it wasn't even a dinner social. Totally got ditched..haha..oh well. At least I got to eat with Alex, Mimi, and Kenneth. ALex and I were really sad though..we wanted to go to Mainstacks and play sardines with our family, but since we thought there was a dinner social we made it later..but then it just got too complicated. AHHH..stupid planning problems. SO we didnt get to play but then we went to shattuck to watch He's Just Not That Into You. But it was sold out! hah..just our luck right?! But we went to Emeryville and it was a really good movie! SO great!!!!! so it was me, Cheriz, Alex, and Kenneth. The entire ride there and sometimes throughout the movie, Cheriz and I would comment on Alex's relationship issues...then Kenneth joined in too. HAH! its only because we love him. =)
On saturday I was supposed to go to ROCK. But I woke up and wasn't feeling well and couldnt go. ahh..but I also couldn't sleep afterwards either. sigh..more tv. I went to have dinner with Alex at Thai Noodle House. We had this sudden urge to bake so we went to safeway and got all the ingredients. MMMMM..irish car bomb cupcakes!

It was so awesome! I had so much fun mking it. SO this cake consisted of Guinness Beer and a little bit of baileys. we invited people over to taste it and the consensus...delicious! im so happy that it came out perfect!
so we played games and hung out. IT was 230 when we left alex's. We called for the owl shuttle...UGHHHH..they are so retarded. James and I waited ONE FREAKEN HOUR outside for the shuttle. We could have just taken the bus but the person lied and said the shuttle was on the way. THen finally after 30 minutes from when I called and they said it was one the way....they arrived. But no..they didnt come pick us up. They just parked there...and I was like WTFFFFF....ugh..so i went up to them and asked. so RETARDED!!! DONT EVER TRUST THE OWL SERVICE!
ANd Sunday was an adventure day in San Francisco!! Even though the weather was gloomy, Alex, James and I braved the cold/rain and explored SF. We first took the bart to powell, got on the muni and stopped at UCSF. Looks nice there..except we had to climb a GIGANTIC hill to get to the street/buildings. I was tired. We walked around for like 20 minute and then we were done. haha..pretty small.but still very nice..i like it. THen we went to Haight/Ashbury...uhmmm..yeah..wayyyy overrated. we waled around..saw some cool toy shops but otehr than that..nothing impressive.
we ate our brunch and was on our way to Japantown. MANNNN...i had to suppress my growing urge to buy random stuff that I dont need. all the trinkets, dolls, stickers, pens, and lots more..I really wanted to buy stuff. haha..we took lots of funny pictures and then left. I am totally exhausted.

PS: Alex and I are making the chocolate red velvet balls soon. Ever since he posted it on his blog, I have not been able to stop thinking about them...am I a fatty? lol
