I noticed the cherry blossoms are in bloom and they are really pretty.

Last week we went to the movies. On the way we stopped by to get CANDY! I love gummy bears. They never fail to cheer me up. Tuesday was a crappy day. I ate all of my gummy bears.

This is preschool on Tuesday. Yeah..I'm not sure what that says.

This is preschool on Thursday. Notice the huge difference?? She actually spelled her name right. All the letters in the right order. OMG..I'm so proud! *tear*

This is the finished product of all the partner children.

This is Brianna with her doll. Isn't she adorable?

This is the biker gang. j/k

On Thursday, it was just 4 of the usual 6 Jumpstart members. So our team leader, Alice, drops us off at the preschool and left. I had the honor of leading the class because our team leader had to wait for her phone. It was total chaos. Kids were wandering around and not paying attention. But luckily today we had stickers for them..Heart ones! I bribed them to sit and listen. HAHA.. We waited at preschool until 5:10pm when we usually leave at 4:30pm. We were the last ones there =( felt like elementary school again when I would be like there really late and have to go into the office and call my mom. hehe..then at the planning meeting, we got LUNCHABLES! Omg..it's a very nostalgic day. Anyways...then I went to play with Alex. He had to do his Teach for America Application so while he worked on that, Jeff, Nina and I baked.
First we made red velvet cake. As u can see...this is just brown velvet cake. Then we mixed in the frosting to make the insides of the truffles. Again, not very pleasant looking.

Alex tried to melt the chocolate on the stove..LOL..he ended up turning on the wrong burner and burnt his oven mitts and then he accidently pan fried the chocolates. Obviously he had other things on his mind. LOL. Then we melted the chocolates in the microwave and coated the cakeballs.

Finished product..sorta =) Decadent bliss.

It is too bad it looks nothing like the original. LOL

It was a nice try. We should try again sometime...maybe with a different cake. Or even cake mix. We also made the Sprinkles Cupcakes, made from cake mix from the popular Sprinkles stores in LA.

Things of beauty. SOOO increadibly delicious. The cake is to die for...but the frosting is wayyyyy to sweet for me...I had to scrape it off. But nonetheless, delicious. A great way to start my weekend.
PS. It hailed twice this week. Awesome? Not really. It's cold and I'm sick. =(
