Wednesday was my first day of classes...boring...
So Thursday...went to my jumpstart meeting..then got to hang out with Zona, one of my jumpstart team members. So we went to get our bus pass...bright green..and then I decided to go to the financial aid office (but it closed at 3!) so early..anyways...I really enjoyed talking to her..we got jamba juice and sat on sproul and just got to know each other on a more personal level. I have been working with her for half a year now and just now I am getting to know her. I want to have random talks with people now =)
Then I walked over to Alex's apt. LOL he came to the door as if I were the grim reaper or something. Oh alex..u are funny. Then I went to the Circle K social to watch Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist but unfortunately due to technical difficulties..it was CANCELLED! so what do we do after waiting in line for 1 hour? we watch our own movie! hah..
so we watched Slumdog Millionaire and it was really good. It is about an Indian man who grew up in the slums of Mumbai and through the trials of his life he ends up on the Indian version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire. The drama was so intense but it also had some comedic aspects. I was seriously tense during the entire movie afraid something bad was going to happen. So I would definitely recommend this movie because at the end..there is an Indian Bhangra dance routine...HAHHA..its was amazing! GO WATCH IT! I was really shocked at how poor India is. though. I remember reading the other day that the one of the world's nicest hotel is in Mumbai and in each room there is a shower and bath but across the street, some people are lucky just to have running water for a little bit. Crazy...
So the reason this post is titled the way it is..is because last night I made taro cakes to eat..then i whipped up some fried rice with the left over hot dogs from concession stands..and then we ate jello that I made wednesday night. yumm..
Now it is friday morning. I am tired because I was up last night making food and washing a ton of dishes. and this morning was my first audit discussion at 8:30am. GOSH..so early and he talked so much and fast. Now I am at work. Later today I get to see GARY! and other high school friends.
PS: Daniel already got into 2 law schools! I am sure there will be lots more to come. Congrats!

i saw like... the last 10 minutes of slumdog millionaire! hahaha i walked into christa's (hs friend) house one day, and she shushed me as her, her sister, her sister's friend, and her mom were sitting around the kitchen table, so freaking tensed up, watching the last bit of the movie. even i was tensed up... and it was the last 10 minutes lol and then we started dancing to the dance routine...
