So today it rained. The kids were crazy at preschool. I got scratched..but I don't even know how. Then I went to the training and we got pizza =)
So I went to Kiwanis Family Committee Meeting and then Spirit and Social Committee Meeting. They were both pretty fun today. So at KFC the ice breaker was "what is your favorite word?" Everyone said really smart sounding words...and I said that my favorite word is "eww" and I say it when I am really interested in something, not when something is yucky. It's like a "OOoo" that comes out as "eww". haha...then we wrote the word Family and then another word that we think of when we hear the word family..and then another word for the previous word..and so on.
here's mine:
Family Loving people Always there for you Makes you feel better when sad Ice cream
=) yum
then at spirit and social we did pictionary charades. mine was too easy but this one is vincent's and it's really cute.
Now I am watching the Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice super event. Here is a quote from tonight's episode:
"alone people don't like to hear about together people, even if s/he is alone by choice"
So this past weekend I was home. Then I went to Ontario/Rancho Cucamonga for District Board meeting. I've realized something this past weekend. I am a very emotional person. I'm not sure when it started but almost anything can make me tear up. There is this sadness in me that lingers. I can't get rid of it and there is nothing I can do about it. I guess it's the thought of the future that is fast approaching that scares me. I don't like change. Nope, not one bit at all. I remember when I first moved to Berkeley. I cried for a month. I cried all the way up and continued to cry. Then every time I went home and then left again, I always felt this knot in my throat as I tried to hold back the tears. After 4 years, it's better now. But as we head into our last semester of college, I can't help but be sad and sentimental. Cheriz wrote a song this weekend about our time in Circle K. I couldn't help but tear up at the beauty of the lyrics and her voice. It is very rare to hear her sing and then combined with the lyrics, tears just kept flowing. I know that some people are staying in norcal and some will be in socal. I just hope that people still keep in touch. I am really bad at keeping in touch. I don't like to call people, yet I like to hear what they have been doing etc. I guess what I am really scared of is losing friends due to not seeing them all the time/living far away/or simply because we were never that good of friends to begin with and it's too much trouble to keep in touch. Sounds horrible but it happens. Acquaintances that you meet and say hi to just because you see them all the time...but I know nothing about them and they know nothing about me. Whenever I go to Circle K meetings/events I feel that way. Like I know people's names but that is pretty much it. I guess I find it hard to strike a conversation when I know ultimately that we will never be good friends. Is it because I am too closed? I don't really like to share stuff about my personal life. I'm not sure what it is but I don't know 1 person that knows everything about me. (dont be offended if you read this post..there are people who I share my thoughts/ideas/feeling with but just not everything...I guess different people know different parts of me) It's weird how I can't say what I want to say yet I want to. Like I can listen to someone else for hours and give opinion/advice/comments but rarely do I reciporcate that open honesty. I have been trying to be more conversational due to the pubic speaking class I am taking. But the only thing is..as people are talking to me all I do is listen. I never have the urge to share anything about myself. I mean the important things that I am thinking. I want to have that connection that I see in other people.
I guess this is something I must work on..but is it too late? I sure hope not.
So I left off Wednesday saying I was gonna go to a decal. It turns out, the decal was super popular and i think 100 people came for 30 spots. its gonna be like ed190 and the investment decal where they make it sound like the best class ever and then don't let you in..aish..
then I went to Jumpstart seminar...for those who don't know what Jumpstart is...Jumpstart is working toward the day every child in America enters school prepared to succeed.Check out the site jstart.org
By 8pm..I was incredibly tired. But the night did not end there. for fun recounts, visit Alex or Jeff's blogs. All I have to say is....good times =) i was a red that blended into the wall. haha..oh! One quote from the night..the best one "it's all hairy down there" uhhh..yeah..take it for what it is..haha..said from the not buzzed/not drunk/didnt drink Jeff. =DThen we went back to Alex's apt and I really didnt want to leave...all I wanted was to sleep. I got home got ready for bed, semi-packed and woke up at like 8ish to get ready to leave for the airport. The funniest thing was that I had given my id to james the night before and I totally forgot to bring my id to the airport!!! he gave it back ot me..but i was buzzed..did not even remember. LOL.ahhhh...so i was selected for additional security screening. I could feel that everyone was staring at me..haha..I passed! =)
and now I am at home. I had hotpot for dinner (YUMM!) and then we went to guppy's for dessert. So we get there and its super crowded. So we wait for over 30minutes and the host comes to tell us that there is not table and that he doesn't know when there will be one open. BUT CLEARLY we see a table open. My sister tells him that theres a table there..and he has the nerve to tell us that they are saving the table for a bigger party! WTF..right? So my sister bitches him out and then he like throws the menus on the table and we get seated. Then my sister called for the manager. LOL..it was a funny night. stupid stupid host who didnt know how to talk to customers. aish.
BTW it is like 80degrees here and the wind is insane. its hot.
so I forgot to mention that on tuesday night..as we were leaving asian ghetto after Linda ate dinner..a bum asked if I were a pokemon trainer...i guess it was because I was holding the uglydoll and it was yellow.so he says "are you a pokemon trainer?" I go .."No..haha.." but my boyfriend is. and yes..he is.
here are some pics from the past week.

So yesterday was the first day of preschool after a 5 week hiatus. I was really nervous going back. I was afraid that the preschoolers would not remember me or would be too crazy/hyper to handle. As soon as I walked into the playground, Maribel (my favorite kid..haha) came up to me and hugged me. Then she told me the playhouse is break. ahh..she doesnt speak english like ever. HAHA..so the playhouse is now just walls and a seat with no roof. The kids still enjoys the box a lot. So I walked to my partnered child and took her hand and said "come with me!" So usually she never comes...like she'll say that she is tired or she'll just ignore me. But she followed me and we signed in on a raindrop. I was so surprised that she sorta knows how to write her name. So I dictated the letters to her and she was able to write it! OMG! last winter she was tracing her name..then started drawing random shapes as her name. She also used to write the letters in different order. but she doesnt do that anymore. I am so proud of her =) Everything went well today. She let me read to her. Then she read to me. We read the same book like 4 times through! (which btw..is super good) She was awesome today!
After preschool, I went to find Alex and we went to DC3..ahh..brings me back to freshman year when I always ate at the dinning commons. The food was okay..pretty good i guess. Then we went to first general meeting! it was awesome! There was a genie skit and a really large magic lamp. Also, I met 2 freshmen (George and Niryanan sp?). I also got my long awaited uglydoll made for me by Tiffany! Its so cute with its apron and pocket. After the meeting we went to kips. It was so freaken packed. LOL..i guess we brought like 80 people or something. Someone yelled that it was Andrea's bday so we all sang. Her bday was like a month ago..so I decided to yell that its Tiffany O.'s bday and she was thoroughly embarrassed. HAah..oops. Then finally everyone left. I went to get boba with Matt, Jeff, Linda, James and then Joe joined. Then we went to bear ramen and talked about really random things like naming Matt's kid Madros..or giving birth to bertha! hehe..interesting..
I got home..frozen..showered and went to bed. I was really tired.
This morning I got up early to go to Art because I thought it was still open for enrollment. But after 1 hr..she took roll and then told me the class was full. *sigh* then I went to financial aid office and talked to them about taking 8 units. I guess I'm not gonna risk losing money so I will take 12 units.
Tonight I am going to Public Speaking decal to check it out..and I might take a Tupac decal. We are going to a bar tonight as a first /second week/agustin's bar hopping fun celebration. and I fly home thursday noonish. YAYYYYyyyy! I miss home.
Today Alex and I celebrated Agustin's 21st bday at Joshuya. they each had 2 sake bombs and agustin had an extra sake shot. I just watched. Then we went to Blakes and ate more. Buffalo wings and more beer for them. Cheriz also joined us. Then we came back and I made a movie. Check it out.
I made this earlier too. Watch it...its funny =) I promise.
